The only Killarney hotel with its own golf course, the modern, low-rise Castlerosse is the perfect place in which to relax and chill out. With its friendly staff members, who are happy to provide local tourist information and book excursions, it offers guests a warm and personal welcome. The hotel has 121 guestrooms, all en suite with multi-channel TV and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a choice of double or twin bedrooms and family rooms, which sleep up to five persons. The Grosvenor Restaurant has magnificent views of the Magillicuddy Reeks, Ireland’s highest mountain range. A lavish buffet breakfast is offered here every morning from 7.30am to 10.30 am, while dinner service is from 6.30pm to 9.00 pm. Mulligan’s is a traditional Irish pub, which provides a convivial atmosphere for a drink, a snack or a light meal. It overlooks the golf course and Lower Lake. A pub menu and snack service is available noon to 7.00pm each day. The Health and Leisure Club features a 20 metre pool, gymnasium, jacuzzi, steamroom and saunas. Also with great views of the mountains and the lake, the 9-hole golf course is a Par 36.
